This is the only wine I know that blends Pinot, Syrah and Zinfandel. I have to say the combination works well. Well-balanced and structured, Meditrina offers an interesting combination of lush fruit character and spiciness. Soft and vibrant at the same time, this is one of my recent favorites. |

Tasting Notes
This wine was lovely, punchy fruit, very typical of New Zealand SB. But where this differs is the palate. It has a greater structure and depth than most other SB from New Zealand. The finish is long and bold. |

Rolland Guerin the new owner has won the right to keep the name of Chateau Petrus Gaia after a long battle at the court (Le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Bordeaux ) with Moueix the owner of chateau Petrus (pomerol). The Petrus Gaia property traces back to the late 14th century. On July 15th 1740 it was documented that the mill, the farm and the surrounding property were known as Petrus. 120 bottles will be available from November 15th. Location:The Petrus Gaia vineyard is located on the right bank of the Dordogne river south east of St. Emilion and south of Castillon la Bataille. The wine (premier) is 100% aged in French Oak (50% new, 50% one year old) for a total of 12 months. The final wine was blended in the cellar at the end of March 2009 and bottled in May 2009. |

Tasting Notes
Robust and earthy with a velvety sheen of black currant and chocolate. Develops beautifully in the glass, and the soft tannins and strong red fruit flavors co-mingle to produce a delightful mouthfeel. The Syrah which makes up most of this wine is grown on slate, lending a delicate minerality to the wine. Lovers of Saint-Chinian and other Languedoc wines will love this one. |

Tasting Notes
Powerful and fruit-forward blend of Carignan and Grenache. Very rich, silky and with a lengthy aftertaste. Pair with grilled meats, pork and fruit combinations or sausage-rich pasta dishes. |

The Crémant d’Alsace is the happy result of an alliance between Alsace grape varieties and the traditional methode Champenoise which brings its gentle effervescence to Pinot-Blanc, Riesling, Pinot-Noir, Pinot-Gris. |

Another excellent Rhone Valley red from the stunning 2007 vintage. Coffee, red fruit and leather on the nose, with powerful tannins and rich fruit. Produced from 35-50 year-old vines the wine offers a tantalizing complexity and long finish. Exceptional value for money. |

A great wine. Concentrated fruit characters but not over-done, no jammy characters here! Dense ripe fruit. This wine really punches above its price. I would happily pay 3000 yen as the quality = 4000 yen, at 2000yen it is a real bargain! I wanted to keep it for the next day to see how it would develop but finished it in just under 2 hours!!

Zippy! I really liked this wine. Great summer drinking. The fruit was still lively and fresh as was the palate. Great length and persistence. I had it with some grilled salmon and it was a great match |
