A nice selection of good wines at cheap prices, served in a very laid-back and smallish wine bar setting.

With the entrance mere feet from that of one of local super discount izakaya (beer 80 yen!!!) if would be hard to position oneself in anything approaching upscale terms, and so it's not surprising hat the folks at Bistro 87 chose not to.

Aizbar is a small and obscure wine bar located near the Meguro station in Shinagawa-ku.  Aizbar features 8 counter-seats and no fixed menu. Each experience depends on the daily recommendations of shop owner, Ai Eto.

Les Comptoirs de la Tour d'Argent is an 18-seat wine salon that is attached to the popular French restaurant, La Tour d'Argent. The wine bar carries over 10,000 bottles of wine of over a thousand labels.

Naples-style oven-fired pizzas, an extensive list of organic and other wines, and outdoor a bit of outdoor seating make this a good dining option for those out and about in Korakuen and Tokyo Dome.
