Johannes Pieroth   Charles  Sichel

The wine is a clear bright dark black ruby color with youthful purple rim. It has a forward nose, of ripe almost sweet berry fruit with hints of black currant vanilla and spice. Medium bodied it is smooth well balanced with a good concentration of fruit backed by firm integrated tannins. Well rounded, it is balanced with a soft round long fruity finish that makes it immediately appealing. JKW09/10 9853607 Red OCO11-2

Food Recommendations: Perfect with grilled or barbecued steak ( preferably cooked over vine shoots!), roast chicken and poultry, grilled lamb chops and cheese.
