Clos Saint Andre Monopole 2010
Jeremie Mourat the owner of the domaine Mourat had a dream since he was a child as he passed by the clos thousand of times to produce an outstanding white wine there. The clos saint Andre is located at about five hundreds meters from the chateau Marie du Fou. The clos Saint Andre used to be belong the Champagne family Taittinger until 1968. Jeremie purchased the clos in late 2005 and planted Chenin blanc and Chardonnay in 2006, the first vintage was harvested in 2009 after 41 years. http://www.clossaintandre.com/index.php/le-film

Tasting notes: Nose: Smoky, flinty, vanilla, white flowers - Palate: rich attack, green apple and chalk, pure and clean finish.

The Clos Saint Andre grapes were pressed and fermented in 3500 liters wood vat and 3000 liters egg-shaped Nomblot Oeuf
