This is a wonderful opportunity to drink a wine that is fully mature, complex and still very lively. It comes across as a warm, soft Mediterranean version of very good Bordeaux. So it should as it’s a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, organically cultivated
Dry and medium-full bodied the wine has wonderfully warm, mature and complex aromas of plum, fruitcake, roast meat, herbs, tobacco, cassis and gravel. The tannins are velvet, the acidity lively and it opens into a wine of real elegance and great length. Each of the grape varieties work together perfectly to create a subtle pleasure.
