Robust and earthy with a velvety sheen of black currant and chocolate. Develops beautifully in the glass, and the soft tannins and strong red fruit flavors co-mingle to produce a delightful mouthfeel. The Syrah which makes up most of this wine is grown on slate, lending a delicate minerality to the wine. Lovers of Saint-Chinian and other Languedoc wines will love this one.
