Zoogunzoo opened in 1999 and has been a closely-held secret for those of us who visit and love the place. All of the tables in the restaurant (save a private room in the back) seat two or (if among intimate company three. The lighting is very low and conversation is--for the most part--hushed. This is a great place to take someone when you want privacy and nothing to distract you from your company and Zoogunzoo's excellent food and wine. The food menu is very seafood and fish-oriented, with much of the fare coming from Down Under. The staff is attentive and professional and prices average for the neighborhood and Aoyama-dori location. Highly recommended.
