Restaurant-creperie Le Mont-St-Michel specializes in galettes and crepes from Normandy, while also offering a wide selection of wines, ciders and other regional food and drinks.
Celebrated chef Danny Fec came to Tokyo from Brittany in July of 2009 to take charge of the kitchen and menu, and is said to be very excited about the prospect of using Japanese ingredients in traditional Normandian fare. The wine list consists of wines hand-picked (and in some cases produced) by owner Yves Ringler, and offers an excellent selection of high-quality, affordably-priced wines, many of which are availlable at between 3000 and 5000 yen. the restaurant is located a stone's throw from Mejiro station, making it "just around the corner" from just about anywhere in Tokyo. They also do wine tastings and dinners more or less monthly. For lunch or dinner, it's worth a look.
